Why surfing?

The water changes people.

Surfing develops confidence, resilience, focus, and emotional regulation in a way few activities can.

Controlled surf environments create a scalable and safe introduction to the water, allowing participants to experience the joy and challenge of surfing regardless of background or experience.

First Wave Foundation believes a single wave can become a turning point.
